Author biography
Peggy Swager has a BS in biology and several undergraduate courses in psychology.
She began her profession work with horses in 1970’s followed by training articles
published in several horse magazines. Peggy transitioned to professional work with
dogs in the 1990’s, beginning with training classes and transitioning to
behavioral reform of problematic dogs. She has numerous dog training article
published and has written training books and breed books. She has received both
nominations and awards for her writing from DWAA. In 2016 Peggy was a
Presenter at the APDT Conference.
